Questions we put to the insurer on your behalf
These questions are the difference between a cheap offer and a suitable one.
- What is the limit per occurrence and the annual aggregate?
- Is cover written on an occurrence basis or a claims made basis?
- Does product liability extend outside Jordan?
- Are legal costs inside the limit or in addition to it?
- What is the deductible per claim?
- Does the policy extend to subcontractors working for you?
Common questions about Liability Insurance
Does social security remove the need for employers liability?
Social security covers part of your obligations, but civil claims exceeding that remain possible. Employers liability cover closes the gap.
When do I need product liability?
If you manufacture, distribute or import a product used by consumers. A claim can arrive years after the sale, which is why the basis of cover matters so much.
What does claims made cover mean?
It means the policy responds only to claims presented during its period, even if the incident happened earlier within a defined retroactive date. A gap at renewal creates serious exposure, and we flag it.
The mall owner asks me for a liability certificate. What is needed?
Usually a specified limit of indemnity and the owner named as an additional interest on the policy. We prepare the required wording and send it to them directly.
